Athenian Grill sits right on the Suisun City waterfront and serves traditional Greek dishes inspired by health and family legacy — recipes passed down through generations. Think fresh, flavorful classics made with genuine care and a whole lot of heart.

Alongside the Greek favorites, they also offer American classics and a selection of wine and beer, making it a great spot for any occasion. Save room for their housemade Baklava — layered filo, walnuts, almonds, cinnamon, and a family-recipe simple syrup, best enjoyed with a scoop of vanilla gelato.

Whether you're dining in, catering an event, or ordering online, Athenian Grill pours love and joy into every plate. A genuinely special find on the waterfront.

COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT

Vallejo Together: Neighbors Helping Neighbors

One of the things I enjoy most about publishing The Solano Spotlight is discovering organizations quietly making a real difference in our community.

This week, I'd like to introduce you to Vallejo Together, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting our neighbors experiencing homelessness. Through mobile outreach, meal delivery, care packages, and partnerships with local organizations, their volunteers meet people where they are with compassion and practical support.

Founded as a grassroots volunteer effort in 2010, Vallejo Together continues to live by its simple motto: "Together, we can. Together, we will." It's a reminder that positive change begins with people willing to serve their community.
